Opened Windows XP, I used my Ubuntu 8.04 64 CD. Then, I saw three choies. I chose "install inside Windows". It really installed on my Windows NTFS partition and changed my Windows Boot Loader items.
The ADSL configuraion method is different from 7.10. It still can not install flash plugin on linux 64. The other stupid thing Ubuntu 8.04 did is I chose "Tranditional Chinese" language, but the language installed was "Simple Chinese".
After language pack downloading and setting, I will not write blog in English.
Ubuntu 8.04 提供直接從Windows XP 中執行安裝且安裝在 NT 硬碟分割中．所以很開心的試安裝 64位元版．果然沒有另人失望很容易就安裝成功，重開機後發現它在原有Windows開機選單中加入一項 Ubuntu ．進入後卻是簡體字，明明在安裝時選繁體．
以下是後來自行要搞定的部份：
- ADSL 網路連線 ：選網路 再選 Point to Point ，最後選 PPPoe
- 中文語言包下載 language pack
- FireFox Flash player ： Gnash SWF player 可以正常使用，尚未測試 YouTube
- nVidia 顯示卡原廠驅動程式 : 選系統>硬體驅動程式 將 nvidia-glx-new 裝起來後重開機
- 字型：將微軟正黑體 複製到 /usr/share/fonts/unifonts 下 ，記得給 read 權限
- mp3 codec : 預設沒有安裝，要自行安裝，這對使用者有點不太方便
